Semester Dates & Lesson Options

My semester for Fall 2025 is from September 2nd to December 16th. There will be no lessons on November 26th through November 28th for Thanksgiving. There are a total of fifteen weeks in this semester. I am available for lessons Monday through Friday and offer either 30-minute lessons, one-hour lessons, or group lessons. Group lessons are one hour long and categorized by age (Kindergarten-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th, high school.)

Pricing

1 hour-$60.00 x 15 = $900 for the semester
30 minutes- $35.00 x 15= $525 for the semester
Group lessons (1 hour)- $25.00 x 15= $375 for the semester

Payments are due on the first lesson of the semester or can be made monthly and are due on the first lesson of each month.

Student Expectations

Practice is crucial for one’s musical progress. For each week I ask that either the student or guardian fill out a practice log to give to me at the beginning of our lesson. Practice hours will be determined by length of lesson and communicated with student and parent at the beginning of the semester.

Being on time is expected by both student and teacher. Time missed by a student being tardy will not be made up.

Students are expected to buy their own music. I am happy to help students find where to buy music and will often provide a link to purchase a piece or book after deciding on repertoire. Music should be purchased in the same week that the repertoire is picked so that they have an adequate amount of time to learn their songs.

Policies

Cancellations made 24 hours in advance are available for makeup lessons, if not done within this time frame I may refuse makeup lessons. If I have to cancel, I will provide a makeup lesson.

Makeup lessons will be scheduled as either extra time on the next lesson, summer lessons, or an extra lesson during the week depending on availability.
